OVERVIEW
Southern Blossoms offers complete sustainable design/build services to a broad base of both commercial and high-end residential clients, always true to our commitment to maximize sustainability by employing practices that include storm water runoff management, minimal irrigation and the use of drought tolerant plants.
We create, build and install innovative concepts for outdoor spaces that invoke natural shapes and forms, expose light and take advantage of indigenous materials and specimen plants to create living architecture uniquely suited to the personality of each property.
Inspired, healthy, long-lasting landscapes are Southern Blossoms’ hallmark. We strive to create a living oasis with every landscape that delivers a true experience for all senses as well as the soul.
Our design work starts with an evaluation of the site and analysis of the activity of water around the building or home. The plant materials are selected by groups based on their water needs, which also helps to promote a sound ecosystem with the overall palette established based on the plants’ life cycles. We never overplant, as we understand the specific life cycles and the anticipated size of the plants at maturity.
Southern Blossoms does take full advantage of the riches of South Florida’s tropical environment. Only in the tropics do plants literally grow all of the time throughout every one of the seasons.

From strategically placed retaining walls to elegant gates and welcoming walkways, Southern Blossoms provides complete hardscaping services including gazebos, woodwork, patios, decks, walls, pathways, fireplaces and fencing. Our creative use of materials and installation techniques define outdoor spaces that are without compare.

IRRIGATION SYSTEMS
Southern Blossoms treats water as the treasured resource it is. Our irrigation technology is designed to deliver water with the least possible amount of waste. We work to create effective irrigation systems - or modify existing systems – that tap low-volume irrigation options such as drip and micro-spray systems and minimize the loss of water.

Lighting and acoustics are details that can transform the “outdoors” to an “environment”. Southern Blossoms studies the impact of light and sound on each outdoor environment, enhancing what is natural and soothing, while also insulating from distraction and intrusion where needed. These applications can not only provide the feel of an isolated environment, but also strategically emphasize specimen plants, focal landscape features, and increase safety.
